Mumbai: After the shocking incident where a mosquito was found inside a Big Kids Orange bottle, trusted sources have revealed the possibility of a larger racket behind this. The incident occurred a few days ago during a birthday celebration in Adarsh Nagar, Jogeshwari West, where Big Kids Orange juice bottles, manufactured by AJE Company, were distributed. A 10-year-old girl discovered a mosquito inside one of the bottles.
Following the incident, Oshiwara Police Sub-Inspectors Arjun Pandav and Rahul Survase repeatedly attempted to contact Shailesh Mishra, the distributor of Big Kids Orange bottles, for more information. However, Mishra did not respond to their calls, raising serious concerns.
AJE is a multinational company operating in 28 countries across Latin America, Asia, and Africa, with one of its main offices located in the Patalganga industrial area of Raigad, Maharashtra. Given the scale of the company, such an oversight seems highly suspicious. Juice production units typically follow strict hygiene protocols, making it almost impossible for mosquitoes to be present in the packaging process.
However, when considering the situation more deeply, mosquitoes are often found in areas of poor sanitation, such as open drains and poorly managed waste. The fact that Shailesh Mishra did not respond to police calls has fueled speculation about the authenticity of these bottles. Could the bottles be counterfeit? Could they be packed in unsanitary conditions in homes? Is there a larger racket at play?
These are some of the many questions arising from this incident. Meanwhile, the response from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is awaited with great interest. There is hope that Oshiwara Police will take Shailesh Mishra into custody for thorough investigation, and if a racket is involved, it will be exposed soon.
