Mumbai, 04th September 2024 – The Oshiwara Police have successfully apprehended Saurabh Jaiswal, the accused from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, who allegedly circulated nude photos and videos of his beloved on WhatsApp. The victim, a resident of West Oshiwara, Andheri, was in a romantic relationship with Saurabh. Upset that she was not answering his calls, Saurabh allegedly shared intimate photos and videos of the victim with her husband and other relatives through WhatsApp, leading to severe harassment.
The Oshiwara police, under the leadership of Cyber Squad Chief Sharad Deore and enforcers Ashok Konde and Vikram Sarnobat, conducted an extensive investigation with the help of undercover informants and technical analysis. The investigation traced Saurabh’s location to Varanasi, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. The police team then coordinated with the local authorities at Sureri Police Station to lay a trap, ultimately resulting in Saurabh’s arrest.
Following his arrest, Saurabh was presented in the Jaunpur Court, Uttar Pradesh, and later transferred to the Oshiwara Police Station for further legal proceedings.
