Honoring the Protectors: Shamnagar Cha Raja’s Heartfelt Aarti for Police

Jogeshwari, September 10: The Shamnagar Cha Raja Shri. Ganeshotsav Mandal, known for bridging the gap between the public and law enforcement, has continued its unique tradition of Vardi’s Aarti for the 11th consecutive year. Since 2013, the Mandal has organized this activity to honor the efforts of the police officers who sacrifice their own celebrations to ensure the safety and security of the citizens.

Shivaji Khairnar, a prominent social worker, emphasized that the Mandal’s initiative aims to express gratitude and create a stronger bond between the common citizens and the police force. “The policemen work tirelessly, often sacrificing their own festivals for the sake of our safety. Through this Aarti, we ensure that they, too, can enjoy and participate in the celebrations,” Khairnar said.

This year, the newly appointed Senior Police Inspector of Meghwadi Police Station, Sambhaji Jadhav, along with all the male and female officers of the station, were honored with the opportunity to perform the Aarti. The occasion also saw the felicitation of all the police personnel present.

In addition, the National President of the Central Press Journalist Association, Sandeep Kasalkar, was specially honored for his contributions to the community and the journalistic fraternity.

The Vardi’s Aarti continues to stand as a symbol of respect and unity, bringing together the citizens and the police force during the auspicious Ganeshotsav celebrations.
