Sunita Williams Talks About Body Changes After Months in Space!

Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams, currently aboard the International Space Station (ISS), has addressed concerns about her health after spending several months in space. Recently, images of Williams sparked speculation about possible weight loss, with many noting that she looked “gaunt.”

In a recent interview, Williams cleared the air, explaining that while her body has undergone changes due to microgravity, her weight has remained the same.

“My body feels a little different, but my weight hasn’t changed,” Williams shared. “There are rumors about me losing weight, but that’s not true. I weigh the same as when I arrived here. We use a spring-based tool to measure our weight, and it confirms I’m steady.”

Living in microgravity often impacts astronauts’ muscles, bones, and overall health, but Williams assured everyone that she is doing fine and adapting well to life in space.
