New York: Swift wins seven of the twelve categories in which she is nominated, extending her dominance in the MTV VMAs. It should come as no surprise that she is currently among the most powerful women in the music business and that her status will only grow. Swift is incredibly happy and appreciative of everything that she has already accomplished this year, even though a few more accolades might not seem like much to a worldwide celebrity.
Given that Swift recently concluded her European leg of the ERAs Tour and spends her free time working on highly anticipated projects for her fans, there was much speculation as to whether or not she will attend this year’s celebration honouring artists and creatives in the music industry. However, the “Daylight” singer did more than just show up at the 40th Annual MTV VMAs—quite rightly, since she was the talk of the show.
Speaking about her participation, Swift wore a yellow plaid corseted dress that was made to order by Dior to the Red Carpet. She also wore black shorts and strappy gloves. She paired her playful and punky ensemble with Lorraine Schwartz yellow diamond earrings and thigh-high boots.
