Champions League draw 2024-25 highlights: Real Madrid, last season’s Champions League winners, have been drawn in a tough league fixture for the coming season. The new format introduced by UEFA for this season will see each team play eight matches. Real Madrid will play three of the last final matches for the title: against Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.
The Spaniards will rekindle their rivalry with Liverpool after beating them in the 2018 and 2022 finals. Madrid will also host Borussia Dortmund, who they defeated in last season’s final. The team has strengthened further with the addition of French superstar Kylian Mbappé.
Manchester City, the 2023 champions, will also face a familiar opponent in Inter Milan. Bayern Munich, the 2020 champions, will host Paris Saint-Germain in a rematch of the thrilling final.
Real Madrid will also face AC Milan, Salzburg, Stuttgart, Atalanta, Lille and Brest. The exact match dates will be announced on Saturday.
