Panvel Orchestra Bar Flouts Rules Despite Sting Operation: Authorities Under Scrutiny
Panvel, October 4, 2024: Journalist Binu Varghese has revealed that “Crazy Boys” Orchestra Bar in Kongaon, Panvel, continues to operate in blatant defiance of the law despite last week’s sting operation exposing illegal activities at two bars in APMC and Nerul. Under the jurisdiction of the Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate, “Crazy Boys” has been allowing bar girls to dance while customers shower them with money, clearly violating Maharashtra’s rules against indecent entertainment.
According to information received by Binu Varghese, these activities continue without fear of consequences, suggesting the possible involvement of corrupt practices protecting such establishments. The residents in the area have expressed serious concerns about the negative impact on their community, demanding stricter enforcement and immediate action from authorities.
Maharashtra’s government has previously implemented heavy penalties against such violations, including fines and license cancellations, but the persistence of these activities at “Crazy Boys” raises concerns about the efficacy of current regulatory mechanisms and the accountability of local authorities.
